Pottery Painting Basics:
You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to create a unique one-of-a-kind piece it’s as simple as  1-2-3….

1) Clean/dust off your piece before painting.  Make sure to keep your hands clean. Water, grease or oil will cause the paint not to stick as well to the bisque.
2) For solid colour coverage make sure to apply 3 coats of paint.  The paint is water-based (for easy clean-up) and dries in just a few minutes
3) When you make a mistake, no worries! Most can be fixed in seconds and won’t affect your finished product.

Interesting Facts:
A)  You can put dark colours on top of lighter colours, making the process even easier.
B)  Pencil marks burn away in the kiln.  Sketch your design by hand or use our carbon paper to trace an image from the internet right onto your piece to get it just right.
C)   All you need to bring is your imagination we will provide you with the tools you need and maybe a little inspiration.  Once you’re done you even get to leave the mess behind… we take care of that too!!
